H2O
I tried the shark and found it ackward. Not good in corners and no flexibility. The H2O swivels in all directions which makes getting up under or behind furniture a lot easier. I was really pleased with using the steam with no chemicals on my vinyl floor. With no chemicals left behind dirt/dust didn’t stick and I have to clean a lot less often. It did a great job on my 30 year heart pine wood floors. Both shine like they haven’t in many years.
There is a better choice
These are the standard replacements pads for the H2O steam mop which are poorly constructed and easily fall apart at the seams when used on rough tile surfaces. Also, the closure system for fastening the mop pad onto the head of the steam mop is poorly designed as it consistently falls off and has to be refastened. A better choice is the blue coral mop head which is more expensive but much sturdier and does a better cleaning job, although it still suffers from the same closure design flaws. This problem can be annoying, however, I love the steam mop which cleans better than any other product I have ever used and without chemicals. Therefore, I put up with the inconvenience of the faulty design and hope that one of these days the manufacturer will develop a better closure design.
